Entries must be the work of the exhibitor
No commercial mixes will be accepted.
No premiums paid on items not listed.
All bakery items must be on white paper or plastic plate, and must be covered
with a clear zip-lock plastic bag. A label with the name of the article must be
included.
All items to be judged will be received between 4pm-7pm Thursday, October 8th.
No unregistered entries will be accepted. Judging will begin after 7pm on Oct. 8th.
Judges’ decisions will be final. The Danish System is used, whereby each entry is
judged on its own merit. Multiple awards can be in a class. No prizes will be given
if the judges feel there is no merit.
Exhibits will be under observation at all times during the fair. Security guards will
be on duty during the night. However, the Association is not responsible for
anything damaged, lost or stolen.
Limit is one entry per category.
Please put name of article on the entry blank.
Entry must be received by mail no later then Wednesday, October 7th.
Absolutely no entries will be accepted after that date.
Exhibits may be picked up on Sunday, October 11th between 5PM and 6PM.
Items not picked up by 6PM will be discarded. Any winnings will be donated back
to the Portland Fair
